Manitoba Immigration Polish Initiative
The Manitoba District of Canadian Polish Congress with cooperation with Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program accepts applications for Exploratory Visits for purpose of immigration to Manitoba (Currently suspended).
An exploratory visit is a pre-arranged trip that potential MPNP applicants may make to the Province of Manitoba, Canada to research communities and employment opportunities to help them make an informed decision on whether they have the intention and ability to find employment and settle with their family in Manitoba as permanent residents. Canadian Polish Congress will select limited number of potential MPNP applicants presenting future prospects of enhancing Polish community in Manitoba, conduct skype or phone interview, issue a Letter of Invitation for the Exploratory Visit, provide guidance by a person designated as a "host" and arrange interview with MPNP.
Note: Letter of Inviatation to apply to MPNP is different from Letter of invitation from Canadian Polish Congress and may be issued by MPNP at the end of Exploratory Visit.
Eligibility criteria to participate in the visit are subject to change but generally include that you:
are between the ages of 25 to 40
- have willingness and ability to contribute to vitality of Manitoba's Polish community in the future
- do not have ability to apply through a different MPNP stream
do not have a stronger connection to another province
- can prove a possession of available settlement funds
can demonstrate the employability and adaptability required of all MPNP applicants
have completed at least a one-year, post-secondary education or training program for which you received a diploma, degree or certificate
have worked at least two years full-time in the past five years and can demonstrate your ability to find a job in Manitoba in that occupation (including plans to achieve licence/certification in the case of regulated occupations)
have the genuine intention and ability to economically establish and settle in the Canadian province of Manitoba as a permanent resident demonstrated, in part, with a Settlement Plan
provide to the MPNP, at the time you apply to participate in the initiative, official results of an IELTS test taken within the past two years showing you achieved scores of at least 5 in each test category and overall
