The Folklorama festival began on July 31. The guests of the Polish pavilion were: Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Toronto Magdalena Pszczółkowska, who officially opened the pavilion, MP Raquel Dancho and the president of KPK Jolanta Gronowski.

During the first day of the visit, the Consul General also participated in the Holy Mass celebrated in the Church of the Holy Spirit, as well as in a meeting with representatives of the Polish community in Manitoba, which took place in Sokół St Boniface.
