Polish diplomatic missions in Canada suspend operations due to the Covid19 virus – said John Tomczak, president of the Canadian Polish Congress.

We kindly inform you that in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and the suggestions and decisions of the Canadian authorities, Polish Embassy in Ottawa and General Consulates in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver: suspend until further notice organization and co-organization of all anniversaries, cultural and promotional events and other activities open to general public. Information on the celebration of the National Holiday of May 3 will be given later.

In the light of the above, we kindly inform that all passport/visa appointments scheduled from March 16, 2020 until March 31, 2020 have been canceled. The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ottawa and the Consulates General will only accept applicants in urgent cases, with prior appointment by telephone.
